I have this wildly unrealistic dream of having a minimalist wardrobe. I know a minimalist wardrobe is not supposed to be wildly unrealistic, but I simply like too many different clothing styles and eras for it to become my reality. I just can’t commit to one vibe (sue me!). So, it’s easy to envision how the Zara sale becomes my kryptonite–I have a very difficult time saying no to anything from an oversized sweater to a classic blazer, especially when it’s discounted.

Despite my resolution to decrease my shopping in 2024, I allowed myself to indulge in a Zara sale browse and as a result, have created an entirely new wardrobe. Hypothetically, if I were to buy these 10 Zara sale picks, I’d have the minimalist wardrobe I’ve always envisioned—and you can, too!

In my eyes, the Zara sale section is perfect for buying the things you’d probably buy anyway if they weren’t on sale. I figure, I might as well get a discount! I start my shopping by filtering for lug sole boots, maxi skirts, and knit sweaters. I know I’ll use these items in my everyday life, so I won’t have to deal with the buyer’s remorse of buying something random just because it’s marked down.

Another sale shopping technique is to add your top picks to your cart or to a vision board without the intention of buying everything. Once you’ve shopped the whole site, you’ll be able to see your purchases as a collective unit and make cuts accordingly. This strategy will help you determine which pieces stand out among your favorites and which pieces can even be worn together in multiple combinations or across several seasons.

I’ve already combed through Zara’s special prices page and put together my favorite pieces for you to shop. Once you’re inspired, you can continue to shop the Zara sale online and in stores now.

Zara Satin Effect Dress
Zara.

Remember that pink dress from Zara that went viral on TikTok a while back? This one is a similar style that could work for so many different occasions (the red colorway is a true showstopper, am I right?!). Plus, its discounted $30 price tag is seriously too good to pass up.

Zara Waistband Detail Skort
Zara.

You can’t deny that skorts are oftentimes more comfortable (and convenient) than regular short skirts. Black mini skirts are having a moment right now, but consider spicing things up with a little black skort instead. This one is an impressive 42 percent off right now.

Zara Knit Sweater With Contrasting Topstitching
Zara.

Contrasting stitching is such a cool way to make an otherwise simple design look a bit more unique. I could totally see this knit sweater dressed down with a pair of jeans or dressed up with a black mini skirt (perhaps even the skort above!). Not to mention, it’s not every day you come across a knit sweater on sale for under $28.

Zara Box Pleat Mini Skirt
Zara.

While gray pleated skirts high-key remind me of my high school uniform, they’ve certainly been getting a lot of attention lately (in both mini and midi lengths). Follow the model’s lead and style it with pointed toe heels and socks to jazz your ‘fit up a bit. You could easily go for the trendy “hot librarian” aesthetic in this nearly half-off number.

Zara Leather Biker Boots
Zara.

It’s almost impossible to hold me back from leather biker boots—or really any boots. Even though temps are about to rise, boots paired with shorts, a skirt, or a short dress are such a look. Now that I think of it, those combos are basically my spring uniforms. These boots have the steepest markdown on this list, so hurry and add them to your cart ASAP.

Zara Sleeveless Knit Top
Zara.

It’s the way that I need this knit top in every color possible (I might as well if it costs $18 a pop!). I’m envisioning it going so well with a pair of high-waisted trousers, low-rise pants, long shorts, or even capris.

Zara Midi Swing Skirt
Zara.

I love how light and airy this midi skirt looks, and I’m sure it provides beautiful movement as well. It’s the type of flowy, laidback garment you’re definitely going to want to pack for a beachy vacation. Snag it for basically half-price, stat.

Zara Pinstripe Pants
Zara.

I’m not usually a fan of stripes, but love how these massively discounted pants take on a more subtle approach to the pattern. What really sold me is the frayed waistband—such a rare find!

Zara Pleated Skort
Zara.

Miu Miu micro mini skirt, who?!? This pleated skort is a great alternative to the splurge-worthy designer skirt. In fact, it’ll ring you up for only $28, compared to Miu Miu’s options that cost upwards of $1,000.

Zara Buckled Lug Sole Ankle Boots
Zara.

Here’s more proof that I’m wholeheartedly obsessed with black leather boots, especially ones with chunky lug soles. I’d wear these bad boys with a flowy midi or maxi skirt so that the buckles peek out from underneath. Score these boots for an irresistible $60 while you still can.
